Privacy policy

This policy covers the Google OAuth app "rclone-backup". The app is used by one person, the owner, to back up their own files to their own Google Drive.

Data the app accesses

With the owner's permission, the app reads and writes files in the owner's Google Drive. It only touches the backup folders it creates.

How the data is used

The data is used only to store, check and restore the owner's backups. Files are encrypted on the owner's computer before upload. Nothing is used for advertising, analytics or model training.

Sharing

No data is sold, shared or transferred to anyone. The app has no server of its own; it runs only on the owner's computer.

Google API Services User Data Policy

The app's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Removing access

Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
